About
Hey there! I am an exhibition developer and senior project manager for museums, zoos, and other public spaces. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I loved Indiana Jones and fossils, but I had no idea I would acquire more than 25 years’ experience engaged in stories about science, nature, and history.
The irony is that I didn’t have to travel very far, having worked at some of New York City’s most storied institutions—the American Museum of Natural History, the Wildlife Conservation Society (i.e., Bronx Zoo, NY Aquarium), and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
At other times outside of work, I wanted to get my own hands dirty. I’d rope friends into volunteering with me on local park projects to help keep our urban green spaces green. And since completing a graduate degree in conservation, I’ve remained active in urban ecology, participating in citizen science work along the Coney Island Creek.
I’m hoping to use this site to reflect on past experiences referenced above and new adventures to come. Thanks for checking it out!
